worst part of owning a rottsky is the he can't handle temperatures higher than 75 degrees- and he doesn't realize that he can't handle it until it's too late! You have to constantly watch him, drag him to the shade, give him water, and drag him inside when he starts panting.

We live in Colorado, summers are dry and hot (80-90+ degrees from 10am-8pm). So we're limited on when we can take walks and go to dog parks ☹️ that makes him sad.
He doesn't like watching tv.
My pup likes ice cubes and cold watermelon.
He absolutely hates the sprinkler+water hoses lol but he has no problem running across creeks and sitting in ponds like a hippo 😂 what a weirdo, huh?
If your dog overheats, cool him down in a pool or tempid/cool shower (not cold! that could shock his system). Offer him water but don't force him to drink. Lay him in front of a fan, stay calm, and call a vet.
